We make premium leather accessories — key pouches, wallets, passport holders, phone cases — each one personalised with your name, initials, or a date that means something to you. Precision engraved using a high-powered engraver that leaves a clean, permanent mark with no surface burn, no oxidisation, and no fading over time. Then treated to protect that finish for years of daily use.
We're based in Perth, Western Australia. Every order is made by hand and shipped across Australia within 1-2 business days. When you order from Leovia you're not ordering from a warehouse. You're ordering from a small studio run by someone who cares deeply about what leaves it.
The Story Behind the Brand
I was born in Zambia and moved to Australia when I was 13. I didn't arrive with much but I arrived with something that's stayed with me ever since — a deep fascination with making things.
It started with my family's sewing machine. The moment I was allowed to use it I was completely captivated. The idea that you could take separate pieces of fabric, put them together, and create something entirely new — something that didn't exist before you sat down — felt like a kind of magic to me. I was in awe of it. I still am.
From that moment I wanted to be a fashion designer. I wanted to build something with my name on it. I grew up watching the great fashion houses and noticing the details that set them apart — the hardware, the stitching, the quiet marks of craftsmanship that told you exactly who made something. The engraved logo on a wallet clasp. The embossed monogram on a leather case. Those details fascinated me. They said this was made by someone who cared enough to put their name on it.
I always wanted that for myself. My own brand. My own mark.
When I realised I could engrave — that I could put a name permanently into leather and metal with the precision of a high-end fashion house — something clicked. If I could do this for my own brand, why couldn't everyone have that? Why should a permanently engraved piece feel exclusive to luxury labels? Why can't everyone carry something that's been marked as theirs?
That question became Leovia.
After six years living overseas I returned to Australia with a newborn in my arms and an idea I couldn't let go of. My second child had just arrived. Life was full and loud and beautiful and exhausting. But I kept coming back to it. So I did what any slightly sleep-deprived new mother with a dream does — I started building it. Baby on one arm. Laptop on the other. Leovia was born in the middle of all of it.
That's why this brand feels personal to me in a way I can't fully explain. It came from the same place everything meaningful comes from — something you love, something you believe in, and a moment when you finally decide to stop waiting.
Every piece we make carries a little bit of that story. And now it carries yours too.
